FIGHTING MALARIA IMPROVING HEALTH
A five-year partnership between Comic Relief and GSK which aimed to reduce the impact of malaria in high prevalence countries
Back in 2015, Comic Relief and GSK joined forces to launch the Fighting Malaria, Improving Health partnership
Although it's preventable and treatable, malaria still kills one child every two minutes. Both organisations believe that one of the best ways to fight malaria is to support local and national health systems to combat the disease. By controlling the spread of malaria, health services can redirect resources to other needs, leading to better health for malaria affected countries, continents and communities.

Our Partnership aimed to support organisations embedded in local health systems and communities to improve health outcomes and malaria control

Stories: Learn about the people at the heart of the partnership
From training health workers and providing education for communities, to designing innovative data tracking systems and supporting youth activists to raise awareness of malaria, the partnership has achieved so much over the last five years.
This website is our attempt to share these achievements and the learnings that have come with them. We hope that the resources here – from reports and data, to films, images, stories, songs, and more – can help inspire the new partnerships and ideas needed to end malaria within a generation.
