“Tank Man” Musa Learns about Malaria

Video

On World Mosquito Day (August 20th, 2020), partners in Sierra Leone produced an innovative animated film as part of the Zero Malaria Starts with Me / Malaria e Don Wan Dae Na Mi Han campaign, which aims to mobilise all sectors of society and the population at large to take responsibility for the fight to #EndMalaria.

Following the mass distribution of bed nets in mid-2020, which delivered 4.6 million nets across the country, this video emphasises the importance of using bed nets to prevent malaria and the idea that everyone (even “tank man” Musa!) is at risk of malaria. It was shown on multiple national TV stations. Learn more about the campaign here: https://www.speakupafrica.org/program/zero-malaria-starts-with-me/
